Biography

She graduated from the Philosophy Department at Boğaziçi University with an honor degree in 2007.

In 2011, she received her master's degree from the Applied Social Research Program at the University of Warwick (School of Health and Social Studies) in the UK. During her master's education, she took courses in various fields; including health, human rights, and cultural studies.  She completed her mandatory service requirement for this education at the Philosophy Department of Mardin Artuklu University.

In 2016, she began working as a research assistant in the Philosophy Department at the Social Sciences University of Ankara (ASBÜ). She successfully defended her doctoral thesis titled “Normative Analysis and Ethical Evaluation of Family Members’ Decision at the End of Life for the Patient Who Cannot Decide for Himself” with the supervision of Prof. Dr. İlhan İlkılıç as her advisor.

She continues her work on the history of science and technology, bioethics, and philosophical problems on health.
