Dr. Hatice İpek Keskin from our department, together with Assoc. Prof. Tuba Nur Umut, participated in the 5th International Conference on Applied Ethics, organized under the auspices of the METU Applied Ethics Research Center. They delivered a presentation titled 'An Evaluation of the Impact of Neurotechnology on the Conception of Moral Agency.' Held between November 19-21 at the METU Culture and Convention Center, this event provided a vital platform for establishing productive discussion environments and developing conceptual frameworks suited to the multi-layered and interdisciplinary nature of contemporary ethical debates—shaped by the rapid pace of digital-biotechnological transformation and growing ecological concerns.
